Matt is responsible for building the underlying operational infrastructure to support the company's global growth ambitions. Matt ensures that the company is operating with agility and resilience on a day-to-day basis, while also building strategic innovation projects for international expansion.
Prior to joining Thought Machine, Matt spent seven years leading the global M&A Engineering Integrations team at Google. Among the 120 acquisitions he led during his time in this role was Paul Taylor’s business Phonetic Arts in 2010. As a computer scientist and a former engineer, Matt decided to join Thought Machine as he is passionate about how technology can be used to positively disrupt outdated industries such as banking.
Nicki heads up Thought Machine’s marketing function in Asia Pacific. Nicki joined Thought Machine with 15 years of experience in regional marketing leadership roles across the technology industry in Asia Pacific, including stints at SunGard/FIS and LinkedIn, as well as building the regional marketing functions in APAC for Anaplan and SolidFire. Prior to marketing, Nicki held various roles at Reuters in London, Tokyo and Singapore covering customer relations, account management and product management.
Nicki graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Japanese and economics from the University of London and holds a postgraduate diploma in digital marketing from the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing and a diploma in financial management from ACCA.
Gareth leads Thought Machine’s client services and partnerships functions, and is responsible for delivering high quality support to customers and partners.
A former engineer, Gareth holds over 20 years of experience in senior positions delivering software solutions to the world’s leading banks. Prior to joining Thought Machine, Gareth founded emerging technology consulting business MV37, served as Managing Director of GFT Group, and as Global Head of Delivery at Rule Financial.
Gareth is a Board Advisor to Adaptive Financial Consulting and invests in emerging technology companies such as Seven Feet Apart and ems.ai.
